Intelligrade AI s an AI-powered exam grading system built to solve a real institutional problem: lecturers at Kaimosi Friends University were manually marking answer scripts for hundreds to over a thousand students every exam cycle. Intelligrade AI automates this entire process, processing student responses, applying marking criteria, and generating results at a fraction of the time.
The project was presented at the WIRRIC (Western Innovation, Research & Regional ICT Conference) at Maseno University, where it won an award competing against projects from universities across the region. It is a live deployed application and represents Welynton's flagship AI/ML project.
